Meraki Billing
Meraki wireless access points can be configured in many different ways. One such way is to enable a billing portal or ‘splash page’ on your Meraki mesh network.
When your wireless users connect to your Meraki network they will be directed to a payment and login page. On this splash page they can either login with their existing details or choose one of your payment plans and create their own login. Below is a segment of the Meraki cloud controller web page which allows you to customise this billing access.
As you will see for each billing plan you can configure the network speed allowed. You can even separately restrict the outbound and inbound network speeds. You can choose to make these speeds visible when your customer signs up for their plan if you wish.
The splash page is customisable with your own company logo and any text you choose.
Meraki wireless networks make an excellent choice for any situation where you need public access to the Internet with a simple to configure billing system.
